Holy Week/Easter 2023

As the season of Lent is here, we at Greenfield Covenant Church are preparing for the celebration of Holy Week and Easter by offering worship services and fellowship for all. Beginning with Palm Sunday on April 2 and concluding with the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, April 9, we will offer several opportunities for individuals of all ages to grow in faith and fellowship.

Palm Sunday, Sunday, April 2, at 10:00 AM

Our Palm Sunday Service expresses the sharp contrasts of Holy Week. In the Blessing of the Palms, we experience the joyous demonstration of loyalty to Jesus as he enters Jerusalem.

Holy Thursday, Thursday, April 6, 6:00 PM

You and your entire family are invited to join us for a “Simple Soup Supper”, worship and Celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The meal of simple soup and bread at 6:00 P.M. will be served family style and at 7:00 P.M. we will have a time of worship and a brief message followed by an observance of the Lord’s Supper.

Good Friday, April 7, 7:00 PM

Good Friday is the day we recall the crucifixion and death of Jesus on the cross. Our 7:00 P.M. worship service is a time we remember with deep sorrow the suffering and death of an innocent man who is revealed to be the Son of God and who suffered and died to free us from sin.

Easter Resurrection Sunday, April 9, 10:00 AM

Easter Sunday is the most holy day of the year for Christians as this day commemorates the resurrection of Jesus. This is good news to all humanity; our Lord died and rose again. He defeated death and he came out of the grave victorious. Hallelujah! We are located in the Greenfield village at 12 Depot Drive just off Slip Road. There we have  our chapel, offices, gathering rooms, food pantry, clothes closet, and transitional housing apartment.  Our congregation is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church in America which has over 800 congregations in North America united together for common mission and outreach.
